Mari van der Walt loves painting on fabric. The bright and sunny
colors in her products distinguishes her artwork.
She creates
paintings and additional designs, for products or various ranges of
products, in themes for special occasions, like weddings, birthdays,
christenings, parties, anniversaries, festivals, and school plays or
fκte events. Mari can also paint decor panels for school plays, when
supplied with the theme of the play.
She also creates a range of designs especially for brides and
accompanying items for weddings and receptions, with themes like
butterflies, doves, flowers, the beach, roses, music and so on.
Unfortunately Mari can only accept new work for brides after October/November
2006, but clients are welcome to contact her to make appointments for
projects.
She can paint beautiful scenes for children's rooms in themes that
fits the color scheme and motif of the room, like fairies, rag dolls,
pets, butterflies and little singing birds for girls, or themes such as
sea animals, lions, clowns and sailboats for boys.
Her paintings are excellent gifts, especially considering that she
can create a portrayal of the favourite subjects or interests of the person
receiving the
gift. Thus for the nice young
lady that loves cats, she can create a design with playful and cute
little kittens. And then in addition to that an accompanying birthday
card, if so desired. And for the young sir, an admirable depiction with
air balloons or a beautiful seascape.
Mari also decorates room dividers for larger rooms, entrance halls
at churches or halls or office entrances, with topics such as jungles,
nature and mountains or something about specific occasions like Easter,
Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day or any other similar events.

The captivating, colourful designs creates a special atmosphere in
foyers or entrance halls at businesses or office buildings, but it is
also in places like homes, guesthouses and grand manors, where her
paintings are eye catching. Mari van der Walt's service and products are
assets for interior designers and she loves helping with designing and
creating themes for baby, toddler or children's rooms, vacation houses,
community halls, retirement homes, even nursery schools and restaurants.
If so desired, the designs can be submitted on paper first. Various
types of framing are available.
